SNOW HILL, MD. The scenic Pocomoke River will be the setting for a Mother-Daughter (or son) Luncheon Cruise aboard the Miss Rai on Saturday May 10, 2008. Furnace Town Living Heritage Museum is offering this opportunity to enjoy an Eastern Shore Luncheon and a narrated cruise while helping raise funds for the museum’s interpretive program.

Bob Gordon, captain and owner of The Miss Rai, will pull away from the Sturgis Park dock at 11:30 am. Lunch will be served on board by Furnace Town board and staff, as the boat goes just beyond Shad Landing. The boat will return to Sturgis Park about 1:30.
