Peggy Gelbrich - www.yellowhousequilter.com

For over 30 years, Peggy has been quilting and helping others catch the “quilting bug.”

Teaching and sharing the art of quilt making is her passion. She has taught in Alaska, Washington, California, Idaho and Oregon, and Colorado.

Because of her expertise and attention to detail, Peggy has made quilts that have won many awards. Her quilt, “Roses for Travis and Sharon” is pictured in the book, “Rose Sampler Supreme,” by Rosemary Mahkan. Her patterns have been published in Quilter’s Newsletter and Fonz and Porter’s Love of Quilting magazines and she is working on a book proposal. She is accredited to teach the Thimblelady method of hand quilting.

Peggy loves all types of quilting but traditional quilts are her favorite. She enjoys the challenge of learning and experimenting with different techniques in the quilt making process, always looking for an easier way to conquer those seemingly difficult patterns.
