Throughout the year, Furnace Town sponsors and hosts several events that showcase the grounds and celebrate the local history, heritage, and culture of the Eastern Shore of Maryland.
Some of the favorites include the Nassawango Outdoor Quilt Show, the Chesapeake Celtic Festival, Furnace Fright, Strawberry Day, Fourth at the Furnace, Tomato Tasting Festival, Dog Days of Summer, Nature Walks, and Archaeology Digs.

We have several spaces to choose from, each different in its charm, including an 1840s Church, a stage at the base of our Furnace, and our Blacksmith Shop, along with several open spaces on the grounds large enough for banquet tents. We also have a 40' x 80' covered pavilion with a concrete floor and picnic tables. No matter what type of event you are planning, be it formal or casual, Furnace Town is a perfect fit.
